2025 Ironman 70.3 Higashi Mikawa Japan in Atsumi Peninsula Executive Committee(Constituent organizations: Aichi Prefecture, Tahara City, Toyohashi City, Tahara City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Atsumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Toyohashi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Atsumi Peninsula Tourism Bureau, Toyohashi Tourism and Convention Association, Tahara City Sports Association, Toyohashi City Sports Association, Aichi Prefecture Triathlon Association, Higashi Mikawa Sports Regional Promotion Foundation) announces the cancellation of 2025 Ironman 70.3 Higashi Mikawa Japan in Atsumi Peninsula.

 

In July 2024, the Executive Committee announced that the international triathlon competition "2025 Ironman 70.3 Higashi Mikawa Japan in Atsumi Peninsula" would be held in Tahara City and Toyohashi City from Friday, June 6th to Sunday, June 8th, 2025, and we have been preparing for the event. However, we have determined that it will be difficult to meet the various requirements necessary for the event by the date of the event, and unfortunately have decided to cancel the event.

 

We sincerely apologize for this disappointing news to the athletes who were looking forward to participating in the event and were considering it. We also apologize for the concern and inconvenience caused to the residents along the route that was planned for the event course. We would like to offer our deepest apologies and ask for your understanding and cooperation.
