We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

In June 2023, we held the first "Ironman 70.3 Higashi Mikawa Japan in Atsumi Peninsula", with the participation of many athletes.

We received many supportive comments from the participating athletes, such as "I'm glad I participated" and "It was a tournament with full of hospitality".

 

However, although this first tournament was well received by everyone, the tournament was held without fully resolving issues such as the burden on the residents along the race course, promotion of the local region, and ensuring the safety.

 

Fostering a sense of unity with the community is the most important thing in aiming to continuous Ironman in the future, so we have decided to postpone the tournament of 2024 after taking some time to explain the situation carefully.

After learning from the lessons learned from the previous tournament, we have been steadily preparing for the second tournament, and in July of this year, we announced that the "2025 Ironman 70.3 Higashi Mikawa Japan in Atsumi Peninsula" would be held from June 6th to 8th, 2025. However, as we continued to discuss with those involved in the tournament, we determined that it would be difficult to meet the various requirements necessary to hold the tournament by the tournament date, and so, with great regret, we have decided to cancel the second tournament.

 

We sincerely apologize to all the athletes who were looking forward to participating in the tournament and were considering it. We have made every effort to hold an Ironman in this area, but we deeply apologize for not being able to hold the tournament due to our limited ability, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
